Robert Half Fixed Asset Accountant in Englewood, Colorado

Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for a Fixed Asset Accountant in Englewood, Colorado. The role involves managing and maintaining accurate records of the company's fixed assets, ensuring their correct allocation, and preparing for a system transition in the future. You will be based in the office initially, with the possibility of moving towards a hybrid working model.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the transition to a new system by ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data

• Extract and analyze asset information from the past five years to ensure correct assignment and allocation

• Undertake a thorough clean-up of the asset ledger, focusing on monotonous tasks

• Identify and rectify instances where assets have remained in "in progress" status when they should have been moved to "active"

• Reconcile the fixed asset ledger by identifying discrepancies and making necessary adjustments

• Manage a substantial number of fixed assets, ensuring accurate tracking and recording

• Utilize skills in BlackLine, Fixed Asset Accounting, Fixed Asset Depreciation, Fixed Asset Inventory, Fixed Asset Ledger, Fixed asset management, Fixed Asset Records, Fixed Assets, Dynamics Ax, and Microsoft Excel to perform duties effectively and efficiently. Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in Fixed Asset Accounting

• Proven experience in managing Fixed Asset Inventory

• Demonstrable skills in Fixed Asset Depreciation

• Proficiency in using BlackLine software

• Solid understanding of Fixed Asset Ledger

• Experience in Fixed Asset Management

• Capability to maintain Fixed Asset Records

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Ax is essential

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel

• Ability to adapt to changes in Fixed Assets

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
